2008, the LawTech Group recognized the need to publish
quality publications for the professional investigator.
Whether that be law enforcement, corporate investigations
and security or the private investigator.

Tom Turner is the President and co-founder
of LawTech P.I.. He is an author, lecturer and
California licensed private investigator.
He has addressed thousands across the United States
through corporate programs, educational institutions,
national trade and professional associations on identity
theft investigation and prevention, investigative techniques
and privacy issues.
During his thirty plus years as an investigator, he
has worked in law |
| enforcement, was the
senior investigator for TRW Information Services (now Experian) and owned a
successful private investigation agency in Orange County,
California. He
has investigated major fraud cases across the country and
has successfully brought cases to prosecution and conviction
with local and federal prosecutors. |

Paul Starrett is the Vice
President of LawTech P.I.
He is a licensed private investigator and
attorney in California.
Since 1983, he has authored numerous
publications in the areas of interview and
interrogation, private investigations, e-commerce
and evidence. He
has been the keynote speaker at various
investigative associations, both public and private.
Paul holds certifications in

He is admitted to Practice Law in the Supreme
Court of the State of California, United States
Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the
United States District Court for the Northern
